From today, Ubisoft have announced that their real time strategy browser game Might and Magic: Heroes Kingdoms will begin season four with a new “capture the flag” style tournament and a new kind of server.

It’s all kicking off between the Dwarves and the Dark Elves, and players must raise armies to battle the threat and protect the Dwarven fortresses.

Asha’s Tournament is a new optional competition wherein each participating alliance receives a Tear of Asha at the beginning of each round and protect it from enemies. If your alliance obtains – and keeps – the Tears of other teams for the two week period they receive points. There’s a one week cooling off period to allow players to rest up.

The new servers are strategic worlds – hardcore mode in other words – forcing players to be more strategic in their approach with a more limited selection of items to buy in the shop.
