PS4 Remaster of The Last of Us is Real
What has ended up becoming one of the worst kept secrets in the gaming world has finally been confirmed.
In a post to the PlayStation Blog earlier today, a re-release of The Last of Us has been confirmed to be in the works for the PlayStation 4. Naughty Dog is calling it The Last of Us Remastered.
In the post, there are promises of improved character models, shadows and lighting to give a game a graphical boost. If that wasn’t enough to make an already pretty game even prettier, it’ll all be in glorious 1080p and Naughty Dog’s creative Director Neil Druckmann has tweeted that they’re targeting for it to run at 60 frames per second:

There’s also talk of some tasty goodies to be included in the box. Along with the incredible story DLC Left Behind, the Abandoned Territories multiplayer pack will be packed in with the game. A previously unannounced DLC pack called Reclaimed Territories will also be in this Remastered edition of the game, although there’s no word yet on what that actually is.
Expect to learn more about this mystery pack as Naughty Dog prepare for the release of The Last of Us Remastered this Summer.
