Silent Hill Origins and Shattered Memories to mess you up on Vita

Silent Hill Origins and Shattered Memories to mess you up on Vita

If you missed Silent Hill 0rigins or Shattered Memories the first time around, charge up your Vita and get ready for PSNtastic reissues.

For the absolutely bargain price of £7.99 apiece, these two hitherto PSP titles – 0rigins the prequel to the original 1999 title, and Shattered Memories a reimagining of it – are coming to the PlayStation Network.

Shattered Memories, particularly, is a much over-looked classic that re-wrote the rules on survival horror, making terrifyingly good use of the Wii’s motion controls. Whilst the PSP/PS2 version didn’t imbibe quite the same terror, it’s remains one of the darkest tales in the Silent Hill story, and well-worth a play if you missed previous incarnations.

Right now it looks as though they’re merely reissues, with no mention of added HD shininess or a release beyond Europe, but stick with us – as soon as we know more (including the release dates) – we’ll let you know!

What do you think? Will you be picking these up?
