Square Enix’s action role-playing game Final Fantasy Type-0 will be coming to PC on the Steam platform with a HD re-master.
In Type-0, players took control of fourteen members of ‘Class Zero’ and took them through the world of ‘Orience’, completing missions and side quests along the way. The story was reportedly inspired by historical documentaries and was widely recognised as a lot darker than previous Final Fantasy titles.
The game was favoured positively by critics and topped the Japanese sale charts upon its initial release on the PSP. It’s great to see the game venturing away from what was originally intended as an exclusive for the PSP console, later being released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2015, once again topping sales charts.
Understandably because of the success, Square Enix obviously wants to expand on the user base by going the PC route.
Happy to report that new options are included for high-end PC users with new graphical options, improved battle and camera controls as well as Steam community features loaded into the title as well.
There are no announcements on price or release date yet but GGS will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know more.
