If you like dying over and over in the presence of other people, then these screenshots showing off Dark Souls 3’s multiplayer may be of interest to you.
I feel that these look stunning and appropriately gothic. However, I don’t think I can glean anything game-play wise from this.
Dark Souls 3 looks to be releasing sometime in early 2016 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. We did report that the game would be the final installment in the Souls series, but that was due to a slight misunderstanding relating to how the game was described as the ”final episode” by the publisher. You can see how the confusion could have arisen. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki since clarified for Eurogamer that, ”this is not the final product for the Dark Souls series… However, I believe it’s the turning point for the Dark Souls series”.
So, really, Dark Souls 3 should have been advertized as the ”turning episode”. To be semantically correct.
