Ubisoft revealed a meta-novel to accompany the release of Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Titled New York Collapse, the novel will tell the story of a woman struggling to survive and to discover why New York City fell. Retrace her steps through the city in mid-crisis and solve her clues to reveal the key secrets at the heart of Tom Clancy’s The Division. The novel will be penned by Alex Irvine.
The book is set to be published by Chronicle Books on March 8, 2016 and available online and anywhere books are sold.
Here’s a brief synopsis of the book:
Grounded in the world of Tom Clancy’s The Division
In a world where a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society. Teaming up with other Division agents, your mission is to restore order, investigate the source of the virus, and take back New York.
