2016 marks the 20th anniversary for Pokémon and the sale of 275 million Pokémon games, and at the Pokémon direct presentation the world found out that the legacy will continue. Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, was delighted to share that later on this year, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will arrive on the 3DS.

Fans will be pleased to hear that Pokémon Bank will be available for the new games, which means that the Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be transferrable between other versions, including the new Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow versions that released on February 27th.
