As we all know, Pokémon turned 20 this year, and celebrations are still running for fans all over the world. The UK is sharing some of the spotlight this month, as once again the 2016 Pokémon UK National Championships are to visit Liverpool.


This year, Pokkén Tournament will be a competitive game for the first time in the event’s history, and will be available to play as well as Pokémon Omega Ruby,  Alpha Sapphire and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

A prize pool of $100,000 will be up for grabs at the August Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco for the Pokkén Tournament entrants.

For those interested in attending the Liverpool event, it will take place at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on 14-15 May.
