It’s been a bit of a while since Persona 4 came out. This JRPG gem first released on PS2 and revamped for the PS Vita in Persona 4 Golden easily became one of the main reasons to own a Vita.

Persona 4 saw a group of schoolkids solving the mystery disapperances of villagers in the small Japanese town of Inaba, all whilst trying to have as typical a high school life as possible.

Now, it’s 2016 and we heard earlier that Persona 5 is nearly complete and is due to be released in Japan on September 15 this year. The immediate reaction from fans (myself included) was how long the wait would be for the game to be localised in the West.

We finally know one part of that puzzle. Persona 5 is due to be released in the Americas on February 14 2017. It’s gonna be a long wait, but going by this trailer it looks like it’ll be worth it:

(Praise be to the internet for translating)

Now, if you’re in the US, there is a special edition of Persona 5 to look out for. The game will come out for both the PS3 and the PS4, however the PS4 version will also have the option of a “Take Your Heart” Edition (See the Valentine’s link there?)
