During last week’s Gamescom 2016 event, Life is Strange developer, DontNot Entertainment had brought a new, pre-alpha, gameplay trailer for their upcoming action-RPG Vampyr. The video was exclusively for members of the press attending the event. However, DontNot has decided to share a 15 minute gameplay video with everyone, showcasing the game’s story and gameplay mechanics.
Without any spoilers, the presentation begins a little after the beginning of the game. Now aware of being a vampire, protagonist Dr Jonathan Reid must come to terms with what he has become, meeting some of the characters you will interact with along your journey; some of whom are aware of what Reid is, and also share the same affliction.
Vampyr is scheduled for a 2017 release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
