Konami has revealed that it will integrate a dedicated eSports element within PES 2017.
The competition will now be easier for all PES users to access. For the first time in the series’ history, PES 2017 will feature a dedicated mode that will allow users to partake in Official PES League matches.
“As the PES series continues to go from strength to strength, we are exploring a number of ways to build its reputation within the eSports sector,” said Jonas Lygaard, Senior Director of Brand and Business Development at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. “Later this year we will be integrating the hugely popular PES League element as a dedicated mode within PES 2017 and future iterations, allowing organised competitions to become easily accessible to absolutely anyone owning a PES title.”
This year’s iteration is founded upon the Control Reality mechanics, elevating the series’ gameplay to a new level through new control elements and a new standard of visual realism, without sacrificing what made PES successful in the first place: playing a match with your friends. The industry-leading Fox Engine will bring focus on first touch, the making and receiving of passes, and adaptive AI to elevate the game’s acclaimed realism.
PES 2017 will release on September 15th for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
