Bandai Namco has announced that Namco Museum will be available digitally for the Nintendo Switch on July 28th. Additionally, the developer/publisher also revealed that Pac-Man Vs. will be included in the nostalgic package.
Namco Museum is a compilation of the developer’s retro arcade classics such as Dig-Dug, Galaga, both Rolling Thunder games, Splatterhouse; among others. Players will be able to access the game’s online ranking system and try to beat other players’ records. However, Pac-Man Vs. is excluded from the online ranking.
Pac-Man Vs. is a four player game based on the Pac-Man franchise which was created by Toru Iwatani and developed by Nintendo in 2003 under the watchful eye of none other than Shigeru Miyamoto. This new twist on the Pac Man series requires players working together, as ghosts, who have to hunt down Pac-Man. Two Switch consoles are required to play as up to three ghosts play on one console and the Pac-Man character plays on the other.
