At Blizzcon 2017, a ton of new updates were announced for Blizzard games, and now they’re all live! We’ve got all the info you need, right here:

StarCraft II is now free to play! All over the world, players will gain access to the full Wings of Liberty single player campaign, and immediate access to all multiplayer units in Unranked Multiplayer and Custom game modes.

You’ll also have access to the Ranked Multiplayer ladder by completing ten “First Wins of the Day,” in Unranked Multiplayer or Versus AI modes. All Co-op Commanders are free up to level five, including the brand new Terran commander combo Mira Han and Matt Horner, who also debut from today. As an extra bonus, between November 8 and December 8, 2017, players who already have Wings of Liberty (as of October 31, 2017) can get a free digital copy of Heart of the Swarm! Not a bad bargain, I’d say.

The first Dragon Aspect has now arrived to Heroes of the Storm, along with the Dragons of the Nexus quest, which rewards players with three new portraits for their efforts. Warcraft’s Alexstrasza has also joined the party; a powerful support Hero who can transform into her massive Dragon Aspect for fun and chaos for all.

The rewards players can earn from this event are:

  • New skins: Dark Queen Alexstrasza, Dragon Aspect Alexstrasza - Alexstrasza Emoji Packs.
  • New skin variations for Cho’gall, Varian, Kharazim, Samuro, Kael’Thas, Medivh, and Chromie.
  • Dragons of the Nexus quest: Play five games to earn the Dragonqueen Alexstrasza Portrait, ten games to unlock the Dragonstrike Portrait, and achieve 90 takedowns in winning games to receive the Stained-Glass Dragon Knight Portrait.

Finally, there’s an insider’s documentary about the new Overwatch short – “Honor and Glory,” which you can watch below, as well as trying out the new hero, Moira, on the PTR before she’s in the game itself:
