Each week we’ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.

Here’s what we’ve been playing this week …

Dan

  • SSX 3 (XB1) – I can’t stop playing this. So much fun. Going down slopes to Yellowcard like it’s 2003.
  • Black (XB1) – Old School shooter. Forgot how hard it can playing an FPS without aiming.
  • Far Cry 5 (XB1) – Addicted to Arcade mode!

Jay

  • Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom (PS4) – After a whole month, I managed to finish Ni No Kuni 2 and obtain the platinum trophy. I totally loved the game and finally got around to my review!
  • God of War (PS4) – Kratos is back and oh boy! This game is stunning! Damn Santa Monica you have blown it outta the park!

Sarah H

  • BATTLETECH (PC) – Been playing this game nonstop for my review and I’ve absolutely loved it. If you like turn-based or sci-fi games (or turn-based sci-fi games!) be sure to check this one out.
  • Overwatch (PC) – Still haven’t gotten the Blackwatch Moira skin that I want…so I’m still grinding away trying to get more boxes before the event ends.

John

  • Far Cry 4 (PS4) – After a torrid love affair with Far Cry 5, I’ve managed to find time to polish off Far Cry 4. Whilst its story may not be as memorable as Far Cry 5’s there’s still a lot going on in the game, and I’m trying to figure out when I can go back and replay all the missions I missed in my first playthrough.

Stewart

  • Attack On Titan 2 (XBX) – Clocked the game and then some. Really enjoyed this RPG/Hack ‘n’ Slash. So much so, that I’m now watching the anime series again.

Sarah

  • Warcraft 3 (PC) – Absolutely loving this. Seeing such familiar surroundings and characters, even in low resolution, gives me a whole new appreciation for WoW. I can only imagine how fans of Warcraft 3 must’ve felt when they first stepped into the vastness of World of Warcraft’s Azeroth!
  • World of Warcraft (PC) – Still waiting – impatiently – for my alpha beta access.
