At E3 2018, more gameplay footage and visuals have been announced for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, as well as a chance for Spyromaniacs to play the upcoming release at the convention itself.

You’ll be able to glide to new heights, breathe fire, and explore the beautiful environments in their 3D glory. For the true nostalgia factor, the demo shows some fan-favourite experiences from the original trilogy (20 years ago? Surely not…) and has confirmed that the remaster includes improved environments, updated controls, brand-new lighting, and recreated cinematics, all mapped faithfully from the originals.

The game has been remade from the ground up by the original lead developer, Toys for Bob, and will have more than 100 levels, enhanced reward sequences, and Spyro’s gang of friends (including Sparx the Dragonfly, Hunter, Sheila, Agent 9 and Sgt. Byrd), will be back.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be coming to PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X, on September 21, 2018, and will include the three original games from the series: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
