What’s that coming over the hill? … Yep, it’s a monster.

Did you have anything planned for July 17? How about joining Nick Rye and Hurk to fight for Earth’s survival, on all available platforms? Yeah, thought so. Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars will launch on July 17, 2018!

Lost on Mars abducts us from Hope County to the red planet itself, as Nick Rye is teleported to a hostile new landscape to help his buddy Hurk thwart an alien invasion of Earth. Players will have access a new arsenal of alien weaponry, including the Blaster of Disaster, Hellfire, and the Morphinator, while also introducing a new transversal tool with Space Jets.

There are also new Mars-themed assets in Far Cry Arcade, which can be integrated into existing maps or create new sci-fi-themed maps, plus future content will include thematic assets that will be added to Far Cry Arcade for free. If you download the Lost on Mars DLC, you’ll get new weapons for the main game, too - Obliteratorrrr, Taser Phazer Annihilazer, Nerve Reaper, Grape Popper, and Hellfire.

You’ll be able to buy the DLC separately, as part of the Gold Edition, or through the Season Pass, so you’re not short of options. There’s due to be one more DLC after this; Dead Living Zombies, which will be released in August, as well as an asset drop, with more map tools, which will be available for free in future updates.
