Greatness awaits.

Quakecon 2018 kicks off next week, and in case you missed it, there’s two massive tournaments going on during the event; The Elder Scrolls: Legends Masters Series, and the next major event in the Quake Champions, The QuakeCon Open.

The TESL Masters Series will run from Thursday, August 9 to Friday, August 10, and have both online and offline events. It’s been been running since June 30, and the competition has dwindled to the top sixteen players in the world, fighting it out for the title and the $50,000 prize pool on August 9. The final showdown is kicking off Friday, August 10, at 10:15am CT, and you can watch it either live at the arena, or online on their Twitch channel.

The QuakeCon Open is live from Friday, August 10 to Sunday, August 12, and has some of the world’s best esports players involved; Team Liquid’s Rapha & DaHanG, who are teaming up and fighting in a 2v2 Deathmatch for their share of a $175,000 prize pool. 2v2 fights are scheduled for Saturday evening.

But, if that’s not enough, there’s also a bonus round with an extra twist. Players from the top eight 2v2 teams will face off solo, against both teammates and foes, in a 1v1, winner-take-all Duel showdown for the ultimate glory and an additional $25,000. This will take place on Sunday, August 12, and can be watched via the Twitch channel.
