A while back we got word that the Overwatch League would be expanding the teams in the league to 20, with eight new teams from around the world being bought up. The first of those new eight teams have finally been announced, with the French-based Paris Eternal setting up shop.

The new team boasts a team full of European players, with Damien “HyP” Souville -formerly part of Eagle Gaming – represents France alongside Benjamin “BenBest” Dieulafait, Nicolas “NiCOgdh” Moret, and Terence “SoOn” Tarlier. They’re joined by UK-based Harrison “Kruise” Pond, Finnish Roni “LhCloudy” Tiihonen, and Russian George “ShaDowBurn” Gushcha.
On the reveal of Paris Eternal, DM-Sports owner Drew McCourt said that; “we are thrilled to reveal the Paris Eternal brand to Overwatch fans in France, throughout Europe, and around the globe,”
