It looks (Kon)rad!

Bigben Interactive and Eko Software have released a new trailer for their upcoming action-RPG, Warhammer: Chaosbane, showcasing one of the playable characters, the soldier, Konrad Vollen.

Konrad Vollen is an Imperial Captain and, as a close-combat specialist, he fights in melee range and uses area-of-effect based attacks. Armed with a shield, Konrad is also pretty tanky and has a range of abilities that can buff his group.

Each playable character has access to a unique ability; Konrad Vollen uses his shield to stun enemies and, because of his affiliation to Sigmar, a vengeful god, Konrad can use more passive and active skills, which in turn, increase his combat abilities. You can see him in action in the trailer, below.

We showed you an early gameplay trailer a little while ago, giving you some idea of what to expect from Chaosbane, including the unique mechanic, bloodlust. This ability is activated by all four characters and will grant speed and additional powers, with the duration and number of additional skills based on your Bloodlust level.

Warhammer: Chaosbane takes place in the heart of the Old World, a land ravaged by Great War against Chaos. Players will be able to choose between a human, a high elf, a wood elf, and a dwarf and battling Chaos hordes across “iconic locations of this heroic Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe.”

Warhammer: Chaosbane is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2019.
