Gotta keep it safe while catching ’em all.

Planning on picking up Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! (and let’s be real here, you’re probably getting both)? Venom have announced that they are now shipping out their Protective Case for the Poké Ball Plus, to keep it safe wherever you go.

The Poké Ball Plus can replace the Joy-Con controllers when playing, and can be used with your smartphone (provided it’s compatible), meaning you won’t need to look at your phone to catch some critters. The Protective Case is designed to tightly fit the device, with a hard EVA outer shell to protect it from knocks or drops, has a soft inner lining to stop scratches, and has an inner mesh pocket for extra security. Finally, with a carabiner clip, you can attach it to your bag, your belt, or even your keys, to take it out with you wherever you like. Did we mention it’s also designed to look like a classic, red and white Pokéball?

Kelly Rist, Marketing Executive for Venom, commented, “Pokémon fans have been waiting patiently for the launch of the Poké Ball Plus, an exciting new way to experience the fun of Pokémon on Nintendo Switch. Our new protective case ensures that the new hardware remains safe and protected when gaming on the go, while displaying the signature red and white design so familiar to fans.”

The Protective Case is available now for £6 from Amazon – at such a great price, it seems too good a deal to miss.
