Last week, during a concert surrounding the music from The Legend of Zelda in Japan, there were hints that the Wii’s Skyward Sword title could be heading to the Switch in the future (via Nintendo Life). Apparently, the rumour came into the world based on the crowd’s raucous reaction to series producer, Eiji Aonuma supposedly saying “We know what you’re thinking, Skyward Sword on Switch, right?”

It’s far from an announcement, but the suggestion isn’t wildly out of place. Nintendo has re-released a slew of Zelda titles for Nintendo devices, with Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask making its way to the 3DS, while Twilight Princess and Wind Waker arrived on the Wii U from the Gamecube.

There’s been no word on the rumour from Nintendo, though the port would most likely go down well with fans who didn’t own a Wii, as Skyward Sword was pinned down as one of the better Zelda titles in recent times, currently sitting and 93 on Metacritic.

What do you think? Would you be interested in a Switch version of Skyward Sword or would you rather a different title or even a Zelda Collection? Let us know in the comments below.
