Assassin’s Creed 3 updated for current-gen graphics hardware.

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, developed by Ubisoft Barcelona, will be available March 29, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered can be pre-ordered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as a stand-alone game but is also included as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Season Pass.

You can also check out this nice little comparison trailer which shows off the upgraded graphics and lighting engine which is responsible for enhancing the look of Assassin’s Creed III. The side by side shots really show-off the degree of the work that has gone into the restoration of this game.

The remastered Assassin’s Creed III will also come packaged with all of the solo content DLC, which includes the single-player missions Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets, The Tyranny of King Washington and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Remastered.

The Remastered edition will feature 4K and HDR support for the PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, as well as higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine and several other graphical enhancements. Gameplay mechanics and ergonomics have also been improved across the board for a better gameplay experience.
