Side-scrolling horror game “Carrion” from Phobia Game Studios and Devolver Digital will be releasing early next year on both PC and Xbox One. Carrion was revealed at E3 earlier this year and had a lot of attention due to the change of hero archetype in this horror game genre; instead of a human trying to escape the lab that has been infested with an alien entity, you play the squishy bundle of meatballs and spaghetti (the alien) as you try to escape the testing facility whilst being shot at by unkind humans.
As you grow and evolve as you tear down this facility, you acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to freedom or whatever else awaits on the outside. Why don’t you check out the reveal trailer from a while back to have a look at how you can play with your human food whilst you squirm around the levels.
If you happen to be visiting X019 in London from November 14-16 then Carrion will also have a playable demo there if you want to give it a try.
