Summer of Gaming event, developer Phigames and Publisher Dear Villagers released new gameplay footage for their upcoming take on the Metroidvania genre: Recompile.
There’s also a demo available until June 22nd on the game’s Steam page.
Recompile combines Metroidvania-inspired single-player platforming, combat with environmental hacking mechanics, and a dynamic branching narrative system exploring machine intelligence, computational logic, and disastrous ecological consequences.
Recompile will be available for PCs later this year.
