To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the SaGa series, Square Enix has announced Collection of Saga Final Fantasy Legend for the Nintendo Switch and is set to release on December 15th. The game is available to pre-purchase from the Nintendo e-Shop.

The bundle, only available digitally, will include the first three games of the SaGa series: Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, and Final Fantasy Legend III.

The game, created by Akitoshi Kawazu, originally released on the Nintendo Game Boy way back in 1989. All three titles will feature improvements to make classic games even more enjoyable:

  • Character speed boost
  • Adjustable screen magnification
  • Retro display mode to replicate that glorious Game Boy experience
  • New commemorative music and illustrations
  • A special anniversary song
  • 8 different in-game wallpapers
  • The choice to play with either Japanese or English text

Players will also be able to detach the Joy-Con controllers and hold the console vertically, using the onscreen buttons to replicate the authentic Game Boy system-like experience.
