Assassins Creed publisher Ubisoft, has announced a collaboration with headphone makers Focal. This will result in two limited edition runs of Assassins Creed branded Focal headphones. There will be two versions of the wireless headphones, which are emblazoned with the Assassins Creed: Origins insignia and design. One version will be a very limited Focal Utopia Headset created by French jewellers Tournaire, which will retail for around €50,000. This Headset incorporates parts decorated with 18-carat gold. Yep, you read that right – Ubisoft has unveiled a “one of a kind,” machine-crafted Sarcophagus, inspired by Tutankhamun, all entirely 3D printed to commemorate the launch of Assassin’s Creed Origins on Friday October 27, 2017. Using data-mapping imagery from Assassin’s Creed Origins, an image of a sarcophagus was generated by a team of 3D printing consultants at Hobs Studio, London, before the main body of the model was machined from wood, using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) tech. The finer details of the 6ft sarcophagus were then created using a printing process called Stereolithography (SLA).
