Shoot Many Robots has a new trailer introducing all the robots you’ll be shooting upon release for XBLA and PSN. We’re shown the variety of enemies as well as the jetpack-fueled jump and shoot four player fun.

Each robot has its own personality, frankly I doubt you’ll be that bothered with the amount of frantic machine gunning you’ll be doing, and they also have their own unique skills. They vary from a gatling gun turret to a robotic mudworm.

Graphics are very akin to Borderlands (or if you’re like me Borderlands is akin to XIII), we’ll see if the gameplay is reminiscent of a 2D Borderlands though the trailer seems to have an edge of that. “Never judge a game by it’s trailer”, the gameplay may well be thoroughly awesome. We’ll see. In the meantime check out the trailer below.

I know – it’s scant comfort for those of you twiddling your thumbs and waiting for Max Payne 3 to hit your console of choice – but if you just can’t get enough of Max (and to be honest, who can?) you might want to wander over and check out what’s on show at the new Max Payne 3 website.

Featuring a range of new interactive features, the site will give exclusive insights into the game including videos, interviews and artwork. This week, we have a featurette on the 608 Bull revolver, a “large frame handgun packing eight rounds of staggering firepower that can be shot very accurately over short distances”. Apparently.

With “a ton” of never-before-seen content including a new video, screens and 360-degree renders, this should keep even the most ardent fan sated as we wait for the game’s May release. Here’s a snippet of what you might expect . . .

Finally, here’s some screencap goodness. Don’t say we don’t spoil you.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier, the newest Tom Clancy game from Ubisoft, has today received a new trailer. This video is the reveal for the single player campaign, showing off a variety of environments you’ll get to jump into to engage the enemy.

Obviously there’s been many previews of the game’s campaign over it’s development, but this is the first time we’ll see the variety that’s offered, taking you from icy blizzards to desert-based refugee camps – and even a school at one point. You also see a glimpse of some of the reasons this game earns the name Future Soldier – mini walking mech units, active camo, sensor grenades – pretty much everything you could ask for.

The squad based actions also make an appearance with simultaneous sniping sections, the always popular breach and clear style gameplay. It seems you’ll also have a few on rails sections and lots of being stealthy, running and shooting – what more could you want from the series?

The game is currently pegged for release on May 25th in Europe and 22nd in the US for Xbox 360 and PS3

Another week, another new trailer for Mass Effect 3. Bioware is doing its best to keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the launch of the game in just a few weeks’ time – and it really can’t come soon enough! Whereas last week they focused on the co-op mode new to the third installment, this week you’ll see the faces, behind the voices, behind the faces of the characters in the game – got that? Good.

Of course, you’ll hear from a few of those already well known to the series – Seth Green as Joker, Martin Sheen as The Illusive Man, for instance – as they give a little bit of insight to their characters and possible roles they play within Mass Effect 3. But don’t forget – there are also some new voices this time around! First up is Freddie Prinze Jr. playing hardcore soldier squadmate James Vega. Also new this time is someone some of you may recognise from your Xbox: Jessica Chobot. She’ll be lending both her voice and likeness to the character Diana Allers, though no real detail is yet given on what role she’ll play.

For those of you that like to play a bit of FemShep the video also features Jennifer Hale, who briefly teases us about the scale of the game. She also gives a small hint on how ME3 differs from the first two games in the series.

You can watch the entire cast for yourself on the video below. I’m sure more videos will start cropping up in the weeks leading up to the games launch.

For those of you that still don’t know, Mass Effect 3 will be hitting shelves on March 6th and 9th in the US and Europe respectively – giving those new to the series just five weeks to complete the first two games – get to it soldier, the universe is depending on you!

Radical Entertainment have released a new trailer explaining their new addition to Prototype 2, RADNET. RADNET is a new addition for those that pre-order the game early from a retailer, as it will add a host of new content and items for gamers to unlock in Prototype 2.

For a limited time, anyone that pre-orders a copy of Prototype 2 on Xbox 360 or PS3, you will get a code in the box that you can register to unlock the RADNET content. Each day, new challenges will unlock for you to perform in the game. If you complete these challenges, you will then unlock free items and content both in-game and out of the game. Some will be mew powers and mutations, while others might be avatar items, or dynamic themes for your console.

Check out the new trailer below to see all that RADNET has to offer for Prototype 2. Prototype 2 is developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Note that the RADNET code is a one time use code according to the information, so you will not have access to it if bought used. Just thought it wise to point that out.

Yep, it’s here – the Star Wars’ fan ultimate indulgence. Purported to feature iconic settings and characters – not to mention that kick-ass pshfwwwuuuummmmm lightsaber noise (well, probably) – Kinect Star Wars promises to put you “in the Star Wars you know and love, and lets you unleash your inner Jedi — with no controller in the way”.

EXCITE.

To celebrate, Xbox have released a snazzy new video – although don’t expect to see, like, gameplay or anything. It’s just Chris Pratt, arsing about, showing his pants.

Hmm.

Anyway, here it is, in it’s panttastic glory.

And if that hasn’t got your juices flowing, how about this, eh?

THAT’S RIGHT. IT’S A R2-D2 XBOX. WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT.

In space, no one can hear you dream. Good thing too, because the sound of my hopes for an awesome Aliens game would probably get on everybody’s nerves — even more so if we were under siege from relentless waves of xenomorphs, as the poor fellas in this new Aliens: Colonial Marines CGI trailer are. It’s a pretty classy clip, ending with an unnerving yet cheeky grin from one of the titular alien nasties.

A few days ago it was announced that the game’s release has been pushed back to Fall of this year. Here’s hoping the extra time is used well and we get an awesome Aliens game out of it when release rolls around for virtually every platform — Windows, 3DS, Playstation, Wii U and Xbox 360.
