The Newcastle-based studio Reflections, well known for its work on the Driver series and its part in developing major Ubi titles like Tom Clancy’s The Division and The Crew is currently working on a new project developed solely by the British studio, and it’s a bit different to those games I’ve mentioned.
Presenting Grow Home, an ‘experiential climbing game’, where exploration is key. This is especially true when it comes to exploring upwards, with protagonist BUD (Botanical Utility Droid) being able to grip on to many things as it scales whatever it can reach.
The game was originally conceived by a team of eight with Reflections, and is set for digital release on February 4 for PC via Steam. Not long of a wait to get exploring, then!
