The good folks at PlayStation Plus announced the new lineup of freebies that US PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive on February 3rd, 2015 and the lineup continues a strong January slate of free games.
PlayStation 4 owners will get a copy of Transistor, the musically themed platformer from SuperGiant Games. Transistor has received many accolades from gaming sites for being on of the best games of the year and will be a nice addition for those that do not own it. PS4 owners will also get a cross buy title in Rogue Legacy. Rogue Legacy will also be free to download on PS Vita and PlayStation 3 devices.
Other titles available in Feburary will be Yakuza 4, a series that I absolutely adore and should be played by anyone that wants a well themed action/brawler mixed with a great story, Thief on PlayStation 3 (sadly not cross buy for the PS4 version), Apotheon for PlayStation 4, a side scrolling action platformer set in ancient Greece and finally, Kick and Fennick for PlayStation Vita.
Not a bad slate of games for you $50 a year. One notable omission once again for the month of February is the lack of DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition. It is still inevitably delayed and there seems to be no launch window in sight for that release.
