GamesAid’s sell-out Comedy night, ‘Stand Up for GamesAid’ returns to the world-famous London Comedy Store on 11 May, marking its third year. The previous two years have been a great success and has been said to be an industry favourite.
Imran Yusuf (Best Newcomer nominee at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010), will emcee the entire night. Yusuf began his career in the games industry working for the likes of Midway Games, Eidos and SEGA Europe before leaving for the bright lights of showbiz with appearances on The Now Show, The News Quiz and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
Unfortunately the full line up is yet to be announced, but if you loved the line up from the last two years, you’ll surely be in for a treat. Tickets stand at £12.50 per person and all proceeds will go towards GamesAid, a organization that harnesses the fundraising potential of the games industry, making yearly donations to UK youth-focused charities.
Stand Up for GamesAid is one of many great causes, so if you’d like to donate your time, there are a range of GamesAid sponsorship packages for the night to support the project – please contact gamesaidofficial@gmail.com for more information.
