“What do you call a blind dinosaur?”

“I don’t know. What do you call a blind dinosaur?”

“A Do-you-think-he-saw-us”.

Ha ha. Good one. Anyway, having announced earlier in the week that a catalogue of new LEGO inspired games will be hitting various platforms throughout the course of 2015, WB Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group, and Universal Partnerships & Licensing decided yesterday to release a teaser trailer for one of their upcoming dinosaur-driven LEGO games, LEGO Jurassic World. If you’ve not seen it already, check it out below.

Tom Stone, Managing Director of Jurassic Park TT Games said, “As ardent fans of Universal’s Jurassic Park films, we are thrilled with the opportunity to finally bring LEGO dinosaurs to life for the first time in LEGO Jurassic World. Imagine playing as the ominous LEGO T. Rex, roaming the grounds of Isla Nublar, smashing LEGO bricks and battling with other dinosaurs – this game is bound to bring out the kid in all of us”.

The game will feature all three previous films (though hopefully there’ll be an option to skip much of the third one) as well as the upcoming fourth instalment, Jurassic World. As you’d expect, famous scenes from all movies will be recreated LEGO style, with players urged to collect rare amber teeming with dinosaur DNA while they stomp their way around Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna, which they can use to create and customise new species to cause havoc with.

President of Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Stephanie Sperber is certainly excited: “The combination of the blockbuster Jurassic Park film franchise and the wildly successful LEGO videogame series promises to bring fans around the globe a new and engaging way to experience our dinosaurs in LEGO Jurassic World. We can’t wait for the game to hit store shelves in June”.

Available Summer for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PC, keep your eyes and ears open for more dino details sure to be released soon.
