The first of five chapters, “A Knight to Remember”, of a rebooted King’s Quest has released on Steam, Xbox One, Xbox 360 as well as PS4 and PS3. Players can purchase each chapter individually or as a package. They can also buy a Season Pass, so they can access DLC as it drops in the future.

This game is being published by Sierra, a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard. Although it has been developed by The Odd Gentlemen, an indie company who are probably best known for making The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom- a puzzle platformer.

This new installment of King’s Quest focuses on the exploits of a young, bright-eyed Graham, told from the perspective of an older Graham narrating these stories for the benefit of his grand-daughter. This chapter, in particular, sets itself around a grand tournament in which Graham must compete in to become a knight of King Edward’s court.

Expect point-and-click style puzzles, QTEs and frankly terrible puns.

The next chapter is expected to come out some time later this year.
