If you want survival horror, first person and zombies on the current generation console – Techland’s Dying Light is where to start.
Following a stunning unveiling at Gamescom last week, Dying Light: The Following is a story based expansion set in a brand new area the size of the original games multiple regions.
Players will once again assume control of Kyle Crane and infiltrate an area of fanatical cultists with beliefs tied to the outbreak. Techland have advised that it will be up to the player to earn the trust of the locals and choose their own path to get close to the source of the cult’s mission.
Did I mention dune buggies?

Almost reminiscent to mowing down the undead on Dead Rising, I look forward to this!
If that doesn’t sound interesting, sell your console and take up a different hobby.
Considering the vast size of the area and expansion, it’s going to be made completely free for current season pass holders, or priced at $14.99 (UK/Europe TBC).
I’ve openly stated my admiration towards the developer but it’s fair to say that once again, Techland prove to be extremely reasonable and loyal to the fans with a reasonable price tag on a vast expansion!
