The upcoming release of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition wouldn’t be complete without the return of Gary Jules’ “Mad World.†8 days ahead of the game’s release, Microsoft and The Coalition released the official launch trailer for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, featuring the “Mad World†trailer for the original Gears of War which showcases the game’s new footage.
The original “Mad World†trailer kicked off the franchise with what was one of the most iconic and recognised gaming trailer. Paying tribute to the original, the video opens with footage from the original Gears of War then switching to in-game footage from the rebuilt version which has been completely remastered in 1080p and modernised with 60fps multiplayer.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches in the UK on 28th August, and is available for digital pre-order and pre-download now.
