The Insomnia Gaming Festival, coming to Birmingham this year as Insomnia56, has been moved to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre due to lack of space. After reaching full capacity at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena at Insomnia55 last year, and seeing 36,000 visitors, the festival has made the decision to relocate. The new centre will have over 180,000 square feet of space indoors, up to 20 interconnecting halls, has the 15,643 capacity LG arena on site, and apparently has ten times the space from last year’s venue.
Even better, this is a multi year deal, so expect to see more events held here in the future. Insomnia56 runs from December 11th to 14th 2015.
