Square Enix and Disney Interactive revealed that there’s another Kingdom Hearts in development. Titled Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (that’s a mouthful), it brings a remastered version of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance; a former 3DS exclusive title, to Sony’s PS4.
Sora and Riku take on the Mark of Mastery exam in preparation for coming threats. Players will experience faster-paced battles and exploration at a blistering pace.
This compilation also includes:
- Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep A Fragmentary Passage: A completely new playable episode that links to the story of the highly anticipated KHIII, taking place after the storyline of Birth by Sleep played from the perspective of Aqua.
- Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover (movie): A new HD movie which depicts the mysterious story of the Foretellers, connecting the earliest parts of the series’ history, showcased in the upcoming mobile title Kingdom Hearts χ Unchained χ[chi]
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will release exclusively for PS4…eventually as Square hasn’t mentioned any release timetable.
