Metal Gear Online – the multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – rolls out across all consoles today.

PC players will still need to hang on until January, 2016.

The dedicated, squad-based mode will become available by way of a patch that’s available now. You’ll be able to jump into the online action via the game’s main menu screen.

Those of you who picked up the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Collector’s Edition will now be able to cash in your “gold WU S, Pistol and AM MRS-4 weapons, an XP Boost and a Metal Gear Rex Helmet”.
