At their October 2015 event, Microsoft announced Project X-Ray, a device which allows the user to wear hologram and play games in an innovative new style of virtual reality. While this won’t be available to the public just yet, you will be able to apply for a dev kit in early 2016, though they aren’t cheap, at $3000 a go.
