After being downloaded a whooping 140 million times, Sonic Dash proved to be a huge success for SEGA. The publisher is capitalizing on this success by announcing Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom.
Developed by Hardlight studio, the sequel will feature more content, more action, and more challenges. Players will be able to switch in and out between three distinct characters. Like many mobile games, Sonic Dash 2 was soft launched a few months ago in select territories around the globe. Soft launch is a period during which we tweak and improve our titles to ensure our quality standards are met once the game is ready to be launched. After using the data from the soft launch to improve the game, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is now ready for a worldwide release for iOS and Android devices.
