If you’ve been looking forward to the new Mirror’s Edge game, you will be waiting a few months longer than anticipated. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, the prequel to 2008’s Mirror’s Edge, has a new release date of May 24, 2016. Catalyst was originally intended to release on February 23, 2016- giving it the same release date as Far Cry Primal and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
According to this blog post, from MirrorsEdge.com, the extra time will be used to ”make sure that when you step into the massive City of Glass and experience the rise of Faith, it’s as entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be”. Sara Jansson, the game’s producer, urges you to keep the faith. Or keep the Faith, even. Because of play on words.
