Great news for fighting games fans out of PSX 2015. SNK Playmore was also present at Sony’s event to reveal new information about the upcoming entry in their long running King of Fighters franchise.
The fourteenth numbered game is currently planned for a 2016 release on PS4 and will feature a whooping roster of 50 fighters which will feature including returning fan favorites and new faces. The trailer above showcases some of the returning faces such as Billy Kane, Kula, King, Angel, and Ralf.
SNK Playmore will also bring back the franchise’s traditional three-on-three team battle along with introducing a brand new Party Battle Mode bringing together six players (three vs three) at once.
SNK Playmore’s Yasuyuki Oda took over Sony’s Playstation blog to reveal this new information.
