Here’s what to expect in this expanded edition of Total War: Attila:
- A time of apocalyptic turmoil at the very dawn of the Dark Ages, in 395 AD to be exact. With new period-specific technologies, arms and armaments, religion, cultures and social upheaval delivering an authentic experience of this ominous era. Brand new mechanics also allow players to wield the ferocious power of fire for the first time.
- Age of Charlemagne add-on featuring a brand new campaign map resplendent in medieval-style artwork focusses on Europe from the year 768AD. With the introduction of Knights, Housecarls and other new era units, battlefield conflict takes an iconic turn.
- Viking Forefathers which adds the merciless Norsemen to the game. Players can marshal the forces of The Geats, The Jutes and The Danes as they launch southwards from their icy homelands on campaigns of looting, raiding and conquest.
