So, I did not quite expect this one, but the announcement makes sense, as Zen Studios has announced Pinball FX 2 VR coming to Oculus Rift at launch. Yes, a VR pinball game is ready to happen from the team that has been making the premiere digital pinball titles for consoles and PC. Pinball FX 2 VR will ship with three tables (Mars, Secrets from the Deep and Epic Quest), a beach side mansion that houses the tables, and all the social features that make Pinball FX 2 so addictive to score chase.
I do like the idea of being able to walk around the tables in this mansion, looking at the table art and what not, but I am curious to know what the future plans are for the game. One hopes that new tables will come to the game regularly, but I guess we will learn more after the initial product is released.
