Microsoft and The Coalition have revealed that the Gears of War 4 beta will launch mid April and last throughout the last two weeks next month.
Beginning on 18th April, anyone who has played last summer’s Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 will receive a download code to join into the multiplayer fun of the closed beta. Starting on 24th April, all qualifying Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will be invited to join the beta until it ends on 1st May.
Additionally, they’re extending the timeframe for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition players to qualify for early access to the Gears of War 4 beta to the 11th April (previously 1st March). Basically, any new players who jump in on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 by 6 a.m. GMT, 11th April will be eligible for the closed beta.
