With May already creeping up around the corner, it also means that Battleborn is about to hit store shelves next Tuesday, May 3rd. In order to celebrate the release of the game, 2K and Gearbox Software has released the official launch trailer for the game which can be seen above. The trailer showcases the variety of ways to experience the game’s 25 badass characters.
In both the episodic story mode or competitive multiplayer modes, players can go in solo or team up in 5-player co-op (and 2-player splitscreen co-op) to save a universe on the brink of extinction.
Additionally, the publisher and developer have also released a few details about last week’s Open beta along with a nifty infographic. The trial saw over 2 million players give Gearbox Software’s new project a spin.
