Apple’s iPad Pro is a 12-inch monolith of technology. The incredible retina display and the powerful specs, not to mention its light weight and incredibly thin build are a real joy to utilize on everyday basis. It is, of course, the prime device for entertainment and as such, it is easy to recommend for playing the latest of mobile games offerings.

Some players enjoy the fast paced action offered by racing simulators, others the quiet yet enticing challenge of puzzle games, while there are others who excel at role playing (yes, even on a hand held device). Of course, there are the types of players who love to try out the ever engaging casino games and for those we have a treat – check out the review of Royal Vegas mobile casino and marvel at the huge variety of games you can try out for free.

The App Store is teeming with excellent titles you can enjoy on your iPad Pro though we have narrowed the selection to just few who are well deserving of your attention. Let’s count them down, shall we?

Fallout Shelter

Bethesda’s greatest mobile creation – Fallout Shelter preceded the release of the now legendary Fallout IV by several months but was downloaded by millions of players for a good reason. it is an excellent little puzzle / action / adventure game with RPG elements and a simple yet inspiring campaign mode where you basically have to take care for the denizens of your own Fallout shelter. Fans would appreciate the carefully crafted interface and scripted events, as well as many callbacks to previous Fallout titles, and newcomers can always enjoy the ridiculous plot and funny moments set in such a bleak reality.

The Room 3

The series of this puzzle-game are already a stuff of greatness on the App Store. The first two had gotten away with awards from BAFTA and other organizations for a good reason – their sublime game play was peppered with enough cleverness and excellent design to lure even the most eccentric players. The Room 3 proudly continues the tradition with even better graphics, more obscure and brain numbing puzzles and a setting that is eerie reminiscent of a lovecraftian horror.

Sim City Buildit

The SimCity franchise’s latest iteration on PC did not fly well with players due to the ton of limitations and the always-online controversy. Luckily, iPad Pro players can enjoy the glory days of the franchise thanks to the excellent mobile port of Sim City called Buildit. With a clever UI that uses both hands to navigate through the city, you can manage and build your metropolis within hours.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Arguably one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time and the best RPG games of all times (and containing the greatest gaming twists of all times), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a real BEAST of a game. Spanning roughly 40+ hours, it is one of Bioware’s shiniest moments of pure storytelling and game play triumph, taking us on a ride in a galaxy, far, far away where the Jedi and the Sith are at a civil war. Ported with incredible accuracy and excellent controls adapted for such a complex game, you will be hooked for days on this masterpiece.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War

A critically acclaimed side-scroller with an incredible and touching story about the horrors of the First World War, Valiant Hearts: The Great War is an incredible game for the iPad Pro. The unique art style rally peaks on the retina display and the narrative is simple yet engaging enough to have you playing through the chapters without a thought for stopping. There’s the occasional light-hearted moment though make sure to prepare some tissues for the finale.
