In a surprising move, Nintendo has revealed a new miniature NES called the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System. The system is a replica of the classic console, and will release this November.
The mini console will support HDMI, and comes complete with the classic NES controller. The icing on the cake is the 30 built-in NES games, with the whole bundle only setting you back $60.
The Mini NES can also be used to play Virtual Console NES games you own on the Wii or Wii U when you plug in a Wii Controller. Similar to Virtual Console games, games on the mini console will support multiple save states.
