PlayStation Now is coming to PC.
Launching  in Europe “soon” – and “shortly thereafter” Stateside – the system brings a whole host of hitherto PlayStation exclusive games (Uncharted, God of War etc.) to PC.
Courtesy of PS Blog, here’s the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:
- Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
- 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
- 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
- Sound card; USB port
You’ll need a 5Mbps connection to use PS Now on any device, and Sony recommends a wired Internet connection for the “optimal experience”.
Fancy PC gaming but not so hot on the keyboard/mouse combo? Worry not. Sony has also announced the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor, which lets you connect a wireless DualShock 4 to PC and Mac (although performance specs for Macs are not detailed in the post). You can also use it for PS4 Remote Play on your PC or Mac, too (if you haven’t got the installer, just click here).
Remember: the adaptor isn’t a pre-requisite for using the DualShock with your PC; you can still operate it via a USB cable without it. The adaptor’s just for wireless fun.
The adaptor will be available from September for $25USD/$30CAD. As yet there’s no UK/EU pricing, but we’ll confirm as and when we can.
