Sony has enabled two-step verification for PSN accounts.
The extra security requires verification from your approved phone number when logging into a console, accessing your account online or via the app, protecting your personal and credit card details.
To set up two-step security, log into your PSN account online and add your phone number.
The beefed security comes five years after the PlayStation network was hacked, leaking details of 77 million members and taking the system offline for several days.
