More tidbits were released earlier to give us a greater insight into what’s to come in the next pair of Pokémon games- Sun and Moon.
Among those are new Pokémon for the roster, a healthy batch of characters to meet and some interesting gameplay mechanics. They’re all shown off in the trailer above, but there are two particular features that caught my eye.
First is a real tangible difference in how each of the two games are played. There is a time difference of twelve hours between Pokémon Sun and Moon. Apparently this will also influence how certain scenarios play out in the game, which could potentially impact the Pokémon you encounter. It represents a more visual representation of the differences between the two games, which is pretty cool.
Secondly and more interestingly, it seems as if the N64 classic Pokémon Snap gets a nostalgic nod in the form of the Poké Finder. Photos can be taken of Pokémon out in the wild and are rated, leading to improvements like zoom features and more.
Pokémon Sun and Moon are due for release on November 23 for the Nintendo 3DS
